Unforgettable Desert Nights: Van Adventure in Arizona
I was down in Arizona getting some work done on the van and decided to head out for some night photography. There are a few fatal flaws in the performance of the Sprinter van. First, the fuel tank is tiny which means you have to fuel up a lot. Second, the stock suspension on the Sprinter vans is TERRIBLE when you have a fully decked-out camper van. I decided to take our adventure van down to Owl Vans to have them install a few offroad modifications so I can level up my van life adventures. The first modification was a 47-gallon long-range fuel tank which will give the sprinter roughly a 700-mile range. The second modification was adding the VanCompass 4.3 suspension system. Along with the suspension upgrade, I went ahead and added the VanCompass skid plate system for added protection when offroading with the Sprinter van. For those other sprinter van camper van owners out there, I highly suggest adding these offroad modifications as soon as you can!
